When we started out, we knew that we wanted to make a difference in the world. We wanted to trade sustainably, reducing our carbon at home and at work, and go further helping others to do the same, and to help individuals too. We also knew that as a small company we would find many causes, and that our small contribution could be spread too thinly. For this reason we set out to find partners that could amplify our commitments and make change happen more easily.

One of these partners was Gone West. Their model is to work with young people; providing purpose, training and meaningful work in reforesting key regions around the world. We chose to support the young people in a Palestinian project, and we are pleased to announce that we have created a 180 tree ‘forest of the future’.
