Innovation with purpose

Neil and I collaborated on a short opinion piece for the Journal of the Institute of Food Science & Technology (IFST) all about “innovation with purpose” and our experience with The 6 i’s of innovation, a model created by Natalie Turner

This has become our start point for explaining the model to the food industry, and for working with individuals on their own understanding. We like the model for the way it encourages us to work with purpose, to connect with others to leverage their strengths and how easily value can be realised from this model.

We had the good fortune to interview three different leaders in the food industry Paul Brown CO of BOL Foods, Simon Bishop Co-founder of the SHFoodie consultancy, and Dr Craig Leadley of Campden BRI, and their insights were invaluable.
